EllenTV.com also made a short article filled with short tidbits and fun facts about Josh!
Josh Hutcherson was here to tell Ellen about two upcoming films he’s starring in — “Journey 2″ and “The Hunger Games”! While he was here, we were able to find out some fun facts about him. Check it out!
Josh was born October 22nd, 1992 in Union, Kentucky. The population of Union is 5,379, which means Josh has approximately 30 Twitter followers for every 1 person in his home town.
His mom works for Delta Airlines and his dad works for the Environmental Protection Agency.
He used to have a blanket called “Yellow Blankie” that he carried with him everywhere. He didn’t say when he gave it up, but we’re guessing it must be at least a year or two ago.
He has two dogs named Diesel and Nixon.
Josh was in the movie “The Kids Are Alright.” He’s also a big supporter of the organization “Straight But Not Narrow.” You can see his YouTube video about it right here!
He’s a charming and friendly guy, and we all enjoyed his visit to the show. Let’s hope he comes back real soon!
Josh and Jennifer sat down and talked “The Hunger Games” with MTV News’s correspondent, Josh Horowitz. The banter between the two is very cute and does give us a glimpse at the on-screen chemistry the pair share. In the videos, Josh and Jen talk about their favourite scenes, their most anticipated scenes to film for “Catching Fire” (hint from Jen: “We get married!”), the Capitol set and the supposed rivalry between “The Hunger Games” and “Twilight”.
Big thank you to Iria from Damian-Lewis.com for the videos!

Director Gary Ross and the cast on the behind-the-scenes drama of the $90 million Lionsgate epic that should bring young people back to the movies, propel Jennifer Lawrence into the stratosphere and launch another (fingers crossed) “Twilight”-sized franchise.
On Sept. 6, 2010, Gary Ross boarded a plane from Los Angeles for New York, carrying art boards and a seven-minute film he’d made with thousands of dollars of his own money.
Ross was nervous: He was about to meet with the top brass at Lionsgate and pitch himself as director of their most high-profile project, The Hunger Games. The then-53-year-old hadn’t made a film since Seabiscuit seven years earlier, and even though he was a four-time Oscar nominee, he was an unlikely candidate for what the independent studio hoped to be a major franchise. In this exclusive photo from the moments just before their introduction, Cinna (Lenny Kravitz) readies a final flaming flourish to Peeta and Katniss’s black costumes. “This is one of those moments where Cinna’s character syncs up with the creativity of our costume designer Judianna Makovsky,” says Ross. (Makovsky earned Oscar nominations for her work on Ross’ previous movies Pleasantville and Seabiscuit.) “What Cinna was trying to do was create something that came out of District 12, out of a coal mining world, with a fresh, bold look to it. So Judianna went to this wonderful black reflective material that glistened like coal or graphite and would obviously work well in the Tribute parade where Katniss becomes the Girl on Fire.” via EntertainmentWeekly.com
